I don't know what it is about her... Born in Chester, educated at Bristol and Cambridge, first woman fellow of Christ's College, taught at Yale and the London School of Economics, Fellow at the British Academy and the Royal Society of Literature, and she currently teaches at Princeton. Not to mention the super-adorableness of her being married to David Cannadine, another prominent and equally as impressive British historian who also happens to teach at Princeton.
